3 weeks one day, in fact, since my paperwork was sent to the DVLA, and still no V5C. They're saying 4-6 weeks now, and to call after 6 weeks if it's still not through! Ho hum... <sighs and carries on twiddling thumbs>

6 weeks is a hell of a long wait when the "summer" is here and you have a car that is paid for and ready to go frown

Bloody government departments. In any private business people giving such rubbish service would be out of a job.

Spoke to the DVLA again today and managed to persuade the person to run a search. Guess what - NO RECORD OF MY PAPERS!

Left a message with Caterham, they called the DVLA and called me back.

Apparently as Caterham have a direct line to someone at the DVLA, the records don't show up in searches of the 'public' system. Apparently, though, my documents were being processed and the papers will be sent to me tomorrow!

The car is all ready to collect bar the number plates (which are done on site anyway) so it seems it's pretty much down to the post!

Godspeed, Royal Mail!

That makes sense I guess, I've experienced similar before but not with the DVLA. Good news! Fingers crossed you get to pick the car up in the next couple of days, I'll be doing a Sundance for you. smile
