I'm in need of a quick favour from anyone with a De-Dion car. I could need with knowing the thickness of the De-Din ears and if they're steel or ally. I'm using a Caterham back end in a project, and need to know the thickness for total axle width as my car is much narrower than a Cat. Cheers in advance for any help!

Re read and realised what you are after. Ears themselves are ally and are ??? Thick. (Prob around 3/4 in. Had a new dedion on the floor to hand but I can't to see the ears as they are hidden at the mo. Someone will be along with an accurate number in a bit

If you don't get an answer by Monday evening, I can pop down to where I have my cars stored, and measure them for you.
They are not flat though. I have the JPE ones with 2 degrees of camber.

No worries. Just to confirm though, I read between 28 & 31mm approximately, as I said they have some camber machined in.
