Don't Caterhams look extra cool when dirty though! I must confess to sometimes trying to see how long I leave it before cleaning just because I think it looks damn tough when covered in a 'bit' of road grime!
I went out in mine yesterday with the aeroscreen and ended up getting caught up with an Impreza owners club blast out near Colchester! Don't worry though I showed them who's boss!

I was having a play with a skyline which was going well until I stopped at some lights. An alarming amount of smoke was coming from the nearside - the crud around the exhaust had dried out enough and was trying to catch on fire

The worse thing I've had was a plastic carrier bag which melted to the exhaust!
Not only was it a pain in the a**e to get off but the stench for a few days afterwards was vile.
I only planned on going out for half hour yesterday but three hours later I rumbled back on to my driveway with bits of gravel and dirt all over my face - I looked like a young Stirling Moss!
I really do find that an aeroscreen adds to the experience but at high speed and without a crash helmet on it is a struggle to hear the engine revs - perhaps some earplugs would be a wise investment!
