high pitch wine after switching off ignition
Discussion
Since my k series is not yet roadworthy I have been disconnecting the battery each time I switch off to prevent any possible parasitic battery drain.
However a couple of times after maneuvering the car in and out of the garage I have noticed a very high pitch wine after switching off the ignition, clearly cars normally shut down on turning the key off but something is remaining on- can anybody suggest what this might be?

My k vvc makes a high pitch sound for approx 2 mins on warm up some times does not even do it. It gets higher and higher pitched until it sounds intense then stops and runs sweet as a nut. Sounds like from starter motor area although very hard to pin point. Have replaced alternater As I was convinced it was that but its still there.
I don't worry about little noises till its clearly apparent now as there are quite a few that appear then disappear for weeks at a time.
It will stop when it's not happy is my theory. :-)
