Isn't that just the Caterham version of the Alpine?

"The sale of Caterham F1 Team now allows Caterham Group to focus on its core activities..."

'Core' Activities Include - Making Sevens, motorbikes, boat bits, energy drinks, go-carts, consulting & design, making carbon bits, GP2 Racing, Moto Racing, making pushbikes and experimenting with making a car that isn't a Seven.

Focus is important, but I can't wait to see the new Caterham gyro-copter and their entry into Nascar.

At least they're going back to making cars and racing in lower levels of motorsport, as opposed to pretending to be Mclaren or Lotus.

Good I say! I look forward to seeing the new sports car (eventually...).

I'd be interested in what the new 2 seater might be.

If I had to hazard a guess I'd say a composite chassis mid engined car with a Ford power plant. Alfa have proven it can be done with the 4C, and Caterham as a group must have the know how.

point taken about the wide range of "core elements" laugh ....doesn't leave much scope for "non-core elements"

Perhaps it's like the Zenos E10? (which seems to be where the know how from Caterham has gone)
or perhaps it's like the Elemental RP1?
or a KTM Crossbow?

Or perhaps it's like another mid engined, monocoque, ford powered car in an already crowded and insanely competitive market.

It's a good time to be a buyer, not a manufacturer.

also after selling the shares in the alpine fiasco it should allow tony to spend money on his big passion

QPR smile

But there should be something a bit more spectacular than the aero seven in the pipe line, I hope?
