Hi my clutch pedal is rattling, if I leave my foot resting on the clutch (riding slightly) then it doesn't but I can feel the pedal pulsing against my foot.. It only happens around 4k rpm but every gear.

Looking at the pedal box how do I go about tightening it up? I can see the clutch cable coming out the box do I tighten the two nuts towards the box to let the pedal down a bit? Not sure what the best course of action is. All advice appreciated smile

The clutch pedal is mounted on a bush and it is this that is held by the long bolt passing through so you can't tighten it up any more. You could try replacing the bush in case it has worn or maybe dismantling and coating in copaslip to see if that stops it rattling maybe?

Hi there's a fair chance that something has started to fail IE the release bearing and it is this that you can feel through the cable and thus why the pedal is now vibrating, or a mounting or something has come loose

I had exactly the same problem 12 months ago and after having engine removed I found the clutch pressure plate cover had fractured on the circumference!

New clutch plate, cover and CRB and back to normal.

Hope you aren't this unlucky.
