Just wondering if anyone has a light weight flywheel for a 1.8k series?

If not where to get a cheap(in dreaming) one from?

I've just had one fitted to my R300k - much better pickup, revs rise quicker and noticeably faster out of slow corners.

Well worth fitting in my opinion:

Any one have a rough price for them as I am reluctant to pay £350 ish for one from Caterham.

I have a used light R400 race flywheel available if interested but really could do with a new starter ring shrinking on it

Be aware there are two types. There is the flywheel fitted to Superlights and R400s which is a cast item and a dull grey in colour, and also a shiny forged steel one for an R500K. See the pic. Both are the same weight -Circa 3kg. The Steel ones are £300, the others can be picked up used for £100. With an organic plate and reasonable mileage (the one in the pic on the left had done 12k miles) they don't show any real signs of wear.
