I'm on the lookout for a caterham and was wondering if anyone is having a think of selling up. I was interested in a superlight earlier in the year but was too late and nothing that's come up since private sale wise has really been of interest.

I'm not looking for a SV and would like a Superlight / Supersport over a roadsport as I think that would suit my needs.

Anyway, if anyone is thinking or knows of someone who may be selling please let me know.

Budget wise I would say nothing over £20k.

You'll do well to get a (Sigma) Supersport for <£20k, however best of luck with your search.

This is probably not what you are looking for but I have a 1997 1600 sprint for sale, two owners and under 7000miles from new.

What on earth is going on with the boot cover on that? Is it s low profile cover fitted over hoodsticks?

Nice looking car, but fairly low spec for the money.

I may consider selling my Caterham. It's the penultimate K Series Superlight made, registered in 2002.

I haven't decided for certain that I want to let it go as it is stunning but after 4 years, it may be time for a change. PM me if interested.

What about an ex race car Supersport put back to road spec, all have been road registered in the past so would only need a lights etc. put back on and its ready for an MOT. they may not be the best body condition but that is fairly easily sorted but mechanically they are probably better looked after than any road car.

PT Sports cars had a couple for sale not sure if they are still available and i know a good painter who could sort and bodywork issues. could have a very nice car in your choice of colour for less than 20k

Thats one of the routes i may go down but not overly keen on buying from a dealer at the moment, would prefer a private sale but its a valid option for sure.
