Hi
Just got my Caterham (1996 model) and it comes with a bit worn-out cloth seats. So am already thinking of repairing them og buying new seats for the car. But wish ones? The car will be used for roads, vacation and only occasionally on track (never been to one yet) could you please share your view and experiences . My mind is on Caterhams leather seats but feel free to change it.
thx Michael.

I like the standard leather seats, they're very comfortable. But if I was looking to buy new ones I'd have a look at the new GT seats.

To be honest though, it's all down to the height of the seat and what works for you. It'll be different for everyone.

The Cobra 7 seat looks great and is
a comfy seat for road use, straight swop no fuss.

Have just ordered a set with blue piping, And the superlight R logo on the head rest, all done in blue stiching.
Compared in price to others. 330incl, per seat, logo and piping 100 extra for both.

The basic glass fibre Tillett Caterham seats are very comfortable for some people.
I did 1400 miles in 3 days in mine with any aches or pains smile

With composite seats you also have the advantage that they are quick to dry with a cloth if it rains and they are very supportive on track.
