Spotted that yesterday , looks amazing.
You still going to sell yours ?
No I will keep it now and enjoy it. Will try not to be tempted and stick to the original plan of buying a new car in kit form next year. Spotted that yesterday , looks amazing.
You still going to sell yours ?

I was looking at the yellow with orange dbl d caged ex academy car that was for sale at caterham south but decided I couldn't afford 16k.
Then it sold !
Then yours came up that looks ten times better and just affordable .
Must be a act of the gods telling me to save up some more .
Out of interest how easy is yours to drive with its engine modifications ? No different to a regular roadsport or supersport ?
Then it sold !

It's actually quite stressful buying a Caterham. I was looking for over a year until I was able to secure a car I liked before someone else got it first! Then it sold !

My car is great to drive. Engine is far more eager than a 125 roadport which I found lacking in bite.
Offer me above the asking price and I might be persuaded to sell to you!!

I think luck has a lot to do with it.My car is great to drive. Engine is far more eager than a 125 roadport which I found lacking in bite.

When I decided to buy, there just happened to be a car on sale with my ideal spec, for the right price. I had the car less than a fortnight later!

R300 BAD has slipped away from me twice now. Around 2 years ago it was for sale at Caterham South when I popped in for a browse. As soon as I saw it I wanted to buy but a deposit had already been taken. This time around I was not able to secure it quick enough either!! I'm sure the new owner will be around here soon enough. His yellow Elise R is currently on sale in the classifieds. Seemed a nice chap.
Have to ask, what's so special about R300 BAD? Is it:
- Non-standard colour?
- Non-standard carbon bits?
- Non-standard dry sump?
- Caterham aftersales?!
R300s whilst not uber common, when they do come up for sale privately they often dip under £20k. Just trying to get my head around why £23k is good value.

I just liked the whole package. My fav colour with all the bits I want in a Caterham. I agree its not the cheapest R300. - Non-standard colour?

Is this for an R300k? If so, I just don't think they are worth the price jump from an SL. Now DR300s are a totally different proposition...
Clearly someone does think its worth the money and looks like a good overall packageGassing Station | Caterham | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
