The lowered floor option for the money is a no-brainer, it also makes the car way more saleable, as well as creating more leg room and making one feel much snugger in the car as you sit that much lower.

Having had this done in the last few weeks I'd add that as I now look through the centre of the windscreen I no longer have to bend my neck forward in left hand corners to peer under the rear view mirror. Really basic, but I hadn't really noticed the problem until I had it done

Agreed with lowered floors.
2nd but more expensive was a powerspeed exhaust as repalacement for standard in my old 1.6k supersport. I had a 6 speed gearbox, and it transform my ability to overtake as I only had to drop to 4th, not 3rd due to extra mid range torque.

The best upgrade you can do isto get some1-1tuition on track. It will help you drive the car to its limit rather than your own!

Being 6''5", I agree with lowered floors as wel...

As an ARDS instructor I would totally agree with your comments.

I think another great upgrade would be a quiet diff

I think the Momo removable steering wheel should be next on the list, followed by a Soft Bits Shower Cap

I've fitted a flick wipe switch next to the wiper switch (I used a Caterham flash switch and followed instructions on Blatchat).
It's so nice to be able to just give the screen a single wipe without taking my hand off the wheel smile

The other great mod we did to our S3 is an intercom, its great for long Blats, the system we use is the Starcom, which also has Bluetooth which is great for streaming music and hands free phone.

My vote would go to a SBFS Half-Hood cool

Where do you start? 13 inch wheels? Roller barrels? Aero? But the one that gave me the most satisfaction has been the Sadev box.

I'd be very interested to know how much more back lash is evident in the diff with the sequential box?

Backlash seems much the same as before, but if you mean is there a clonk when you change gear, then yes there can be, particularly going down gears or if you change gear too slowly - but that's the nature of a dog box.

The Sadev is the quietest straight cut box I've heard and, using Geartronics flatshift, it seems seamless - smoother than I ever thought possible. The fact that you can change gear mid corner, without the slightest hint of balance change, does it for me.

Not ideal conditions, but here's some video with pitlane stuff to show the slower speed changes.

Video is excellent. I have just sold a Hayabusa Caterahm, which obviously has the dog box, very noisy, very clonkey.

13" wheels for me. Huge difference in feel and confidence in the car.

The half hood is a very close second though. My full hood hasn't moved from it's bag since.

Best upgrade has to be an aeroscreen. I don't think there's anything else that changes the experience from 'fantastic fun' to 'OH-MY-GOD'.

Yes there's no doubt that the Aero screen changes the Caterham experience into a single seater feel.
