Hi All,

I have just put a deposit down on an R400 SV which I will be getting out on the track asap.

Im a Caterham novice, but from reading on here it seems an aeroscreen is the way to go for trackdays. So where can I one from ? Are some better than others ?

Thanks

I'm no expert, but I think it is worth paying extra for Caterham aeroscreen that bolts onto the screen fixings without damaging the car. I picked up another one cheap, but decided not to fit it.

Thanks, I thought that might be the case but when looking on Caterham parts, most things seem to be out of stock.

Just call them - don't trust the website! Everything I've bought from them has said its out of stock online, but they often seem to have it. Including the carbon aeroscreen I bought for my SV a couple of months ago.

Give Caterham South a call. On the recent open day they had loads of Aeroscreens for sale in the parts area all for £79. I didnt check the sizes as I have one already but they caught my eye. Might be worth a call. They were black GRP

As for aeroscreen on track ??? I was going to go that route but I drive there and back and early in the morning with light drizzle and coldness , a roof/heater combo is welcome refuge. I think my aeroscreen has been fitted for about 2 days since I had it ! Must try harder this summer.....

On the flip side, the only time my car has had the windscreen fitted was when I bought it and for the drive home! I took it off as soon as it was tucked up in my garage smile
