C400 Race Car Questions

Good afternoon,

Well I have just bought a c400 race car with the intention of moving from track days to some racing in a Caterham.

I have a couple of questions o the ECU the model number has worn off the sticker I know it is an MBE ECU but can anybody confirm the model which was used in the original Race cars?

Also were these race chassis imperial or metric?

What is the best gearbox oil to use for the Quaife sequential?

I will probably have a lot more questions as I begin to use it and pull it apart.

I can answer one of those questions for you ........ the chassis is imperial.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the response also found out the ECU is a MBE 992.

Spoken to Quaife who recommend a 75W90 GL5 fully synthetic oil for the 60G model gearbox.
