No not at all, I pulls from 2k all the way through to 7800 were the soft cut is set,
No spluttering or coughing, it just goes, the torque is surprising for an 1800cc.

That's why I am selling it with the ecu as it mapped spot on,

I did use it on the road for a few rides out now and again and if I was having another K built I would copy this spec .
