Hydraulic Fluid leak
Discussion
So my R400D's going well well except for a hydraulics fluid leak out of the top of the clutch master cylinder and to a much lesser extent the brake MC too.
The plastic top and seal on the clutch cylinder is a cheap effort, the seal is quite poorly designed and doesn't seat properly. Got over that for now by fitting an old top we had, but would like to make a proper, reliable change.
The leak from the brake cylinder is much less and may be stopped by just cleaning and refitting carefully.
I understand that this is a fairly common issue, are there any known solutions, better quality tops easily available?

I believe for some of the brake master cylinders, there can be purchased a race cap, that doesn't have the sensors and wiring, so doesn't leak out any of those holes or breather holes. Ahh, here it is;

You might be able to add some rubber, or smooth off the lip, of the clutch master cylinder edge. It also may leak out a breather hole, not sure. Maybe a plastic bag-like sheet just placed over the clutch master, then the top screwed down, may fix it as a temporary track-day measure.

Thanks for that.
Once we found they were leaking we wrapped paper wipe around the outside with a cable tie just in case. The older cap we had seemed to stop the clutch leak and I would hope a decent cap and seal will work there, the OE one didn't look very good quality.
The brake was a small leak, and maybe just a case of cleaning and making sure it's tight. I assume the race cap will lead to a warning light? Not that that's a problem.
