This looks lovely and if you look at the rebuild details a good chunk of the car is new bar the reconditioned chassis and the second hand engine.

Collective thoughts? A bargain (as it would cost more to recreate) or overpriced as the base car would only be worth £15k in good condition?

I think that is a top quality car. I wouldn't worry about the chassis not being new if it's been back to arch. It will be as good as new. To be honest, if this had been on the market this time last year, I would have considered buying it! If you want to do a lot of track work, then this will be a fantastic car for the money.

I have known this car for many years, from its previous owner and the current one (who did the rebuild) it is a stunning car. If I had the space for a second Caterham, I would snap it up my self.

The owner has a major issue with OCD. It'll be a perfect car. I reckon he's only selling it because his brother is a faster driver than him.
