Bilstein Spring/Damper adjustment wrench.
Discussion
I made two, a bit of 5mm steel plate and a small pin, lots of cutting and weld the pin on.
In the end the spanners where fine but one of the back shocks was seized solid, no amount of heat or release spray would separate the collar's even with 2 4ft bits of pipe on the spanners.
Most spanners have a flat sided pin but I think Elka shock spanners are the same round pin. I recall finding them somewhere on the internet but they where expensive.

Could someone point me in the right direction? I need an adjustment wrench for the collars on the Bilstein coil-overs.
Can someone suggest a suitable wrench, or the specifications I am looking for?
NB - I have the collars with the 'holes' in them <-- if that makes sense?
I just used a suitably sized drill bit with a little tape around it to protect my fingers. Can someone suggest a suitable wrench, or the specifications I am looking for?

In the past I used drill bits and cut off screwdrivers, but they always ended up damaging the alloy of the adjustable Spring platform.
And as removing snd replacing them is a big job, it's better not to damage them in the first place.
So I ended up buying this set back in 2008 when I built my first R500 Duratec.
They have been excellent, and never mark the platform.
The advantage of having diffeent size ones allows you to get at the back shocks, where acces can sometimes be difficult.
Whilst not cheap,,I think they are worth the investment, and I am sure I paid about £50 for the set, so a good search for offers on them is advised..
