There was a chap at Shelsley Walsh on Sunday 21/08/16 hoping to beg / borrow a clutch cable.

Wondering if he looks at these pages and if he made it home.

I've found the fix is to carry a spare cable around with me: I haven't had a failure since. irkedhehe

I think I know who it was and he made it home using minimal gear changes. Problem was a bent clutch arm. Apparently a common problem with a bell housing oil tank.

Thanks for that.

I couldn't help him but recommended he spoke to one or two of the other competitors in the class (I don't think there were any K-series cars entered).

I'd meant to look for him before I set off but completely forgot.

My clutch cable broke after about 3 months of ownership so I purchased 2.
The 2nd one has been in the boot for 27 years.
