I've been advised that the MSA Blue Book specification for the roll bar in Class 2A (Road going 7-esce cars) has changed and my bar, bought about 20 years ago may not now comply.
It's what was called an FIA bar at the time. Apparently I can get a homologlation certificate for it from Caterham?
Anyone any experience?

Certainly for the L7C sprints, the FIA bar has to be supported by a petty strut to meet their requirements. Originally the FIA sticker was mounted on the roll bar which meant it was compliant by itself, this was changed in latter years for the sticker to be on the petty strut which meant it had to be fitted for the roll bar now to be compliant. Now for the L7C, it doesn't matter where the sticker is fixed, the petty strut is a mandatory requirement unless you have an FIA cage.
If you have an FIA/Trackday roll bar, to comply with the requirements of the blue book it must be used with the petty strut and must have the homogelation sticker. Dependent upon age of the bar Replacement stickers can be obtained either from Caterham or from the original manufacturer.
Compliance with the ROPS requirements in the Blue Book has been a recommendation for a number of years which the L7C had adopted, but became mandatory in 2016 for all cars with the specialist road going classes including caterhams & other sevenesque marques.
A number of competitors in other championships did fail scruitineering in 2016.
