Forgot to ask, if being the top model, you had ticked the boxes for air conditioning and cruise control or are they standard?

Sorry forgot to answer your first question!

This is now actually my seventh seven!

And some say 7 is a lucky number!

Congrats

I thought that the Superlight 20 had enough power and consequently was more fun than an R500?!?!?

There was a lot to like about my Superlight Twenty, but sadly it was lacking the power I needed for track work, superb as a road car, but hitting the rev limiter in every gear on track meant more grunt was needed.

Plus having the R500 means you crave that power, so 263bhp was what we had, but 310 bhp was what we really craved!,

I would like a 620S but I can't justify the price and have a very small fear that 310bhp is too much in a 7 for road use so that's why I bought the 420R.

I hope I don't change my mind on that thought train in the future as it will be expensive!

310 is completely usable on the road in a 7, I use mine no problem, admittedly, with a non sequential box,
I would think that the sequential box is not so pleasant in traffic. But on open roads would be great

I did state it was only a small fear that 310bhp was too much! The big fear holding me back was the near 50k price! LOL

Lovely colour combination! (mine is the inverse of that).

I wondered how long you'd go after the drop in power. Thankfully I've never been in a quicker seven than mine (Sigma 140) so don't know what I'm missing!
