Does anyone know what the diff ratio mated to the quaife box will be . Gearing seems a tad high. I didn’t have to use 6th at anglesey at anytime and 2nd was a bit high for Rocket 1& 2.
Admittedly I’ve come from an R400k but I used to have an R500k and both of these coped .
Also I’m spinning and smoking the inside wheel on these corners, Almost like not having an lsd. Changed from 200 wide rears to 250 but little difference. I’m sure the springs are stiffer than previous cars by the way.
Any advice greatfully received . Fantastic day at Anglesey with circuit days only one red flag plus one for the fog, but that’s an act of god when all said and done.

It’s got the same diff ratio as the R400 Duratec. Geared to 149mph. You could try the shorter ratio diff if you wanted to, but I think that would make the overall gearing too short.

As you’ve got the sequential, the gear ratios are different to the manual 6 speed. 1st is much longer but then 2 3 4 5 and 6 are stacked closer. 6th is 1:1 just like the manual I believe.

So... May be try first. It’s geared to 60 mph, so plenty long enough for really slow tight corners. The box is strong enough for it.
