If a car has had a new chassis and it was via Arch Motors then it will have had all new body panels as well, and therefore a new paint job, so probably better than new! (depending on who did the rebuild after the new chassis/panels/paint of course).
I know of a nice clean and maintained 1800vvc for sale privately for about the money you're looking at.

I am a bit new to these cars so im not really sure what to look for if buying privately.
The website shows a grey car and says it has a new chasis, im guessing that it must of had a bad crash. I would imgine the ex race cars lack weather gear and heaters?
Get along to your local L7C club night and have a chat. You don't have to be a member and a list of them are shown in Area Meetings on www.lotus7.club websiteThe website shows a grey car and says it has a new chasis, im guessing that it must of had a bad crash. There will be plenty of help and advice available if you want it and most likely people to help with the purchase. If you join the club and post on the website, obviously the support can be widened out to the rest of the club and you could find its the best value £49.50 you spend if it saves you a lot of money downstream!

Yes I can see that this would be a good idea. Im not too far from Towcester so the Saturday Sausage meet( ! ) could be a very good idea. Im guessing I would be ok turning up in a normal car?!
Sure - if its anything like our meets up in the North-West you can even turn up in other sevenesque cars! If you fancy a run out, its the L7C sprint this Sunday at Curborough near to Lichfield. Free to spectate and wander the paddock and watch the competition and chat to plenty of ownersTango7 said:
