Can anyone tell me what fuel pump assembly (aka cage) was used on a K series or Zetec engined injection caterham? I mean the entire thing that bolts into the side of the tank - not just the pump motor (which is a replaceable item). Failing this, would anyone with a Rover or Zetec engined car be able to measure and tell me what is the diameter and bolt pattern (i.e. PCD) of the pump mounting?

It turns out that Caterham will sell me a fuel tank but they say that the pump assembly has not been available since 2002.

Thanks

gvs

Hi,
I'm happy to be corrected, but I believe that the mounting cage for the fuel pump that sits into the end of the tank is from the Rover Tomcat.
Andy.

To explain, at the time, I was converting from carbs to DTH throttle bodies. In the end, I went a different route by retaining the original bag tank in my ex Vx challenge car and using the low pressure pump to fill a swirl pot to feed a high pressure pump for the new injection system. It worked a treat until recently a union failed in the least accessible place possible, resulting in many hours of swearing and bruised knuckles to get the car running for a track session next day. Oh the joys of old cars!

Back on topic, yes, I think you are correct, the bolt in fuel pump for the K series tank is from a Rover Tomcat.
