Hi all,
Just trying to find out the default throttle position sensor output voltage (at idle) so I can check if mine has gone out of adjustment.
From what I’m reading they seem to need periodic adjustment otherwise the engine will have flat spots or “kangaroo” when pulling away.
I’ve also read loads of posts about the Sigma 150 with throttle bodies (TPS voltage 1.04v) but mine is the latest generation engine so I guess it’s different.

Maybe if no one knows off the top of their head they might be kind enough to measure their own car (maybe using easymap?).
Many thanks all,

Bone Rat

Hi,
Does yours have throttle bodies? My 150 has 2 throttle bodies so each cylinder has it's own trumpet and butterfly. It will kangaroo at part throttle & pull off if the 2 bodies are not balanced, thought the newer ones had got rid of these and just had a single throttle body and plenum. Not sure if the TPS would give that symptom. the 1.04 is correct for the old setup however.

Thanks Andy,
My car is the latest generation “270” spec sigma so has the single point throttle body so I don’t think they the 1.04v applies to my engine.
Cheers for getting in touch though,

My 310 started life as a 270 (i bought it 2 yrs ago after the conversion).
I too have the kangaroo petrol issue when cold.
It's back for a trip to Gatwick at MOT time to hopefully fix.
It's annoying, but once warmed up it's fine.

As a side issue, I was thinking about a throttle body / clutch / alternator / flywheel upgrade from PP.
