I prefer the white but whichever doesn't have the K-series is the one I would go for. Both look great!
What makes you say that? However in this particular instance I think a non K series will give the OP more peace of mind. If OP is fully aware of *POSSIBLE* liner issues etc etc etc, then it may be a solid buy - but that question wasn't asked.
Hence, my preference would be for a non-K engined car.

One of them is from Sevens & Classics. You cannot go wrong buying from these guys. They are all Ex Caterham and know their 7's inside out.
I have had both a 1700 Super Sprint (for 25 years) and now a K series R300 (10 years). I would never go back to the crossflow. The K suits the 7 much better and parts for the Ford Crossflow are going up and up in price. However, you should drive both and then decide. The difference between live axle and De Dion is also worth looking at seriously and what gear box both have. Having 5 speed is beneficial. I had the 4 speed on the crossflow and cruising gets to you, as once you go over 3500 rpm, it drinks petrol. The K is more fuel efficient, but you don't buy a 7 for max MPG.

The dark green X flow looks like the late Michael "Stridey" Stride's car.
If so, it's a great car that's been well maintained, by The 7 Workshop I think.
Recently had a new gearbox.
Stridey - blatting across the clouds

The green car has a £700+ Raceco Titanium Exhaust on it which is very nice but beware that it will not have a catalyst converter within it so you may need either the original exhaust which does have a cat in it or a 'friendly' MOT garage. It may not pass the emission test (if the age of the car requires it) just with the Raceco.

By the way, the reason behind for me to get a car like this because I love cars with passion and at the same time, I am working for the nhs so the only time I am really enjoying myself is the time when I am driving to work and want to get somthings positive for myself during this time

the k series is the best engine ive driven in a number of cars i have owned.. mine only had 135bhp. with a short ratio gearbox .
iI prefered it to a 2. zetec im currently running @205 bhp by a long long way.. a lovely little thing, revy, loads of torque , great sounds.. great character
white and blue for the win from me.. looks amazing, if plate comes with car call it Harry..
id be all over that if i was in the market
