I have had https://www.realequipe.com/ recommended.

Any other options?

I want to change from the tillets I have as I sit a little too high and the top of my helmet is almost at the same height as the FIA bar in my road Caterham. In the PGM race car, with roadsport cage my helmet often hits the cage, quite close to the visor given the marks on my helmet.

thanks,

I can't tell you which brand I have (as I don't know and the place that did it is long gone) but this sort of seat is great if you're taller.

I sit much lower down in the car and at a nicely supported angle.

Place that did it also trimmed it up nicely too - when I get round to cleaning it all up will take some pictures.

Are your Tillets on adjustable runners that you can take out to lower them by any chance?

Hi BertBert. Yes, they are on runners. I did look at fixing the seats directly to the floor but thought the bag seat would be overall better than just lowering

Murph7355. Pictures of your seats would be much appreciated, thank you.

Will try and get some done this weekend. Might shame me into cleaning it! (Then again...).

Photos...a bit wonky.

I'm 6ft 4in and have almost about broken 19st on the scales in the past (15st now). Car has lowered floors. I think my helmeted head is a good couple of inches under the roll cage.

This is the material it's covered in - it's a thin grey foam with a soft feeling face side (the dark blue you see on the seat).

And this is what it looked like after our cat took to sleeping in the car!

Hi Murph7355, that is brilliant, thank you.

Good job cleaning it up, must be comfortable if it has been approved by the cat.

Will definitely go this way but I also guess it means that anyone of a significantly different size cannot drive the car.

It's both size and shape with bead or foam seats, often quite hard for others to drive in my experience which is the downside. Also, if they get wet they are much wetter (as it were) than a tillet or similar.

They are good though!

As BertBert notes, not really a goer if more than you uses the car. Though it does slot in and out reasonably easily (5min job with a cage).

Very comfortable.

Won't be using the car in the wet and if it rains when I'm out I'll either be sat in it or have the tonneau on.

Me only cat should not be a problem. I wonder if they do a water resistant cover? DPR are not far from me.
