Just a quick one. I noticed that Caterham cars at Crawley do not seem to have any used Sevens in stock. In fact when I looked only 23 Sevens were available across all dealers. I don't know whether they do in fact have stock and just not advertising. I also noted that Millwood cars also did not have any stock. I wonder whether this situation will in fact increase prices.

I believe Caterham have plans to turn at least part of the Gatwick site into a new production facility. Perhaps that’s having an impact upon their used stock?

They’re unable to keep up with demand at Dartford & are ultimately looking for a larger factory.

I did read that the Japanese market for new 7s had increased, reducing supply and increasing wait times here in the UK. All of which would have a knock on effect of making used cars more desirable.

I also think that as electrification increases and cars continue to get heavier, more detached and come with more driver aids, current owners are hanging on to their 7s. I know I certainly am. I’ve no evidence for this though, it’s just a feeling!

Interesting. Must be hard for logistics to have an additional production facility. I guess they send kits from Dartford to Crawley to assemble.
