I would need to know the width between the central tunnel and the side panel (chassis S3). I'm not slim and I would like to test if my butt and hips fit in. And do the composite bucket seats offer any advantage for fat drivers over the standard leather seats? For you information, I can seat comfortably in a Sparco Grid Q, which is a wide bucket seat, but not in normal bucket seats.

Just a thought for a reference point. I think the standard Tillet for Caterhams is essentially the b6 screamer (the one with 40cm external width)

here are the dimensions if it helps at all https://www.t1racedevelopment.com/product/tillett-...

Seat width is approx 40cm.

I'm 6ft and around 105kg so no slim jim.

36 inch waist and I fit in quite snugly but comfortable. Tried a car with Tillet seats and found them a little on the tight side.

Thank you. Do the normal leather seats offer more space than the bucket seats or is the width between the tunnel and the side panel the limiting factor?

In my very limited experience the regular seat has more room.

Try an SV. The CSR Tillets are a bit wider than S3 seats. The Leather seats will give you more room.
