Is the transmission tunnel a problem for the driving?
Discussion
The tunnel height in my previous live axle, non-lowered floor Seven was perfect.
When I bought my current car, a dedion car with lowered floors, I found the tunnel was too high, which meant my left arm was cranked upwards quite uncomfortably. It was a strange feeling!
I sorted the problem by raising the driver’s seat about 15mm using kart seat packing washers & longer bolts. It feels about right now, although I could probably get away with non-lowered floors.

Not in my case, but I have fairly short legs!
It sounds like you need to get yourself to a dealership & sit in a few. It’s surprising how adjustable the seats, pedals & steering wheel are (albeit with spanners!). There’s quite a lot of variation between cars. Obviously there are S3 & SV models too.

Never heard that one before, but people are different shapes and sizes. I set up my Tillett for me to sit as low as possible along with having lowered floors. You can even dispense with seat runners and bolt them to the floor. I’ve never considered transmission tunnel an issue, however the heat from it..
