My 2014 Caterham roadsport has just failed its MOT due to the drivers seatbelt being frayed on one edge caused by mice .

I need to replace it but don’t know where to find one. It’s a 1.6 Sigma engine.

Can anybody help?

Thanks

Ask in the Caterham forum, hopefully someone could help you there.

Have you checked Caterham themselves?

Have you got a harness as well as the seatbelt? If so unless you use the seatbelt a lot I would just remove it, probably easier than replacing the webbing and AFAIK if you have the harness then no seatbelt isn’t an MOT fail.

If it’s the harness webbing itself that has been damaged you are probably better replacing the whole lot as there could be other damage and you are betting your life on it working if anything happened. Almost all of the usual kit car/motorsport suppliers will have plenty of options.
