Stepper motor

Any one have any problems with their stepper motor? I think mines got a bit lazy and sometimes when I hit the red line the car idles an extra 1000rpm for a long time

common problem - take him off and clean up the mating surfaces on the end of the retractable nose. Be carefull when taking it off and apart and all the bits fly apart everywhere.

They are not cheap either @ £80 ish new ......

What he said. They're a bit of a pain to get out. If you can get hold of a baby ratchet with a torx attachment it'll save a lot of bother.

Thanks for the info! I gave it a good clean and it seems fine now - did worry me a bit at first!
