Newbie needs advice on models

Hi.
I'm a bit out of touch with the latest models (been into 4x4's MX and horses) and would like to know brief differences between the models, i.e R500, R400, R300 etc etc. I originally wanted a TVR T350 but am now a bit scared by some of the engine issues and think a Caterham may be the more reliable option. Hi, the diferrence between R 500, R 400 & R 300 is h.p. Power to weight, R 500 is 500 h.p. to the metric tone so on so forth. Car weight is the same in all thre cases h.p. R 500 is 235 h.p. R 400 is 205 h.p. & R 300 is 180 h.p.
