How much of a bastard are the discs to change and push the pistons back in! i'm now looking for a set of 2 pot rears and 4 pot fronts, incidentally the RRP of thorneys Ap kit is £1300 not the £1500ish

The AP was developed with AP so is a proper kit. And the AP price quoted is £1300 plus VAT.
