Astra VXR N'Ring Edition - Exhaust Pop

There is a guy who lives a few doors away with one of these babies. Awesome car, with an awesome plate N'ring, or something similar.

But every time he rags it off up the road there is an almighty Pop from the exhaust. Im just curious is this normal?

i have had a play around with one of these quite a bit and my good the car is noisy. i asumed it was a aftermarket exhaust but not i think i might be wrong. i hate to stick my neck out here but it actually sounds a bit pants. i like the over run bangs but the noise isn't very nice and also i think it would annoy me alot with drone and volume after a while and i am used to loud exhausts.

It's standard and very normal.

The exhaust is actually a Remus 888 Racing zorst. The guys at 888 worked with Remus to get them fitted as standard on the 'Burgs and all warranties come under 888 Racing.

Interestingly, there are some times that i'm not enthused by the note my exhaust makes... But then it's only for a few seconds and then i love it again... TBH, it just helps to add to the feeling of going really really fast... Then i have to use the brakes to adjust my speed. The noise and induction "jet noise" is rather intoxicating.
