Just been to Cologne last Friday and had the European team present the Euro spec car and got taken on a short test drive on the plant's test track. After the track we got to specify the car on a bespoke configurator. No prices on the configurator but you could save up to 4 specs with your "concierge" and got a price sheet for each spec.
Car looks huge, great presence. Ride is surprisingly comfortable in comfort mode. Power is what you expect with 800 bhp, great torque and does pull strongly all the way through the range. Straight line traction is also great. Sound is brutal and surprisingly loud given EU regs. Can't really comment on braking, cornering etc. but felt like a well sorted car. It's substantial mass (1.800 kg) also felt well masked.
The "not so good bits":
There is NO track-orientated bucket seat option and the standard foldable seats are not that great for track driving IMHO. Also no roll cage option. Worse though, there is no 5 point harness option which I for my life can't understand.
Despite the car that Max Verstappen drove with Chris Harris clearly having it all (cage, harness and seats) there is no such option planned. That kills it for me and I hope they will seriously rethink that.
Fuel tank below 60 litres, so I don't expect it to last a full usual track day which is below par really. Active Aero and other track orientated bits only with performance package which is a close to 40k option.
Very few options, especially when you are looking to upgrade the plastic-laden interior which is in drastic misalignment with the price tag of the car.
Pricing is eye watering anyways, both my specs are well within the 400, one just shy of 500 given that it's still a Ford and depreciation is likely I found that quite scary.
Great day with a very approacable and nice team who really is behind the project, but it seems a shame if Ford doesn't offer a seat/roll cage/harness option. Doesn't make sense to me at all given that this is supposed to be a track orientated car. Seems like that given up on the last 5%.

Nothing wrong with that with something like this. If you want the car and not a quick profit, it won't be an issue.
