Yeah. I've only played a handful of missions and keep getting killed. Not entirely sure how to "heal" mid-battle. Also, I haven't really looked at building up the skills yet. I think you can build up money and improve the ship, then upgrade to better ships. I'd like to pilot one of those frigates with guns on all sides.

Oh, yeah, and it's completely free. You can pay to upgrade ships quicker if you're not a tight-fisted git like me, I think.

Maybe a silly question but....... how do you go beyond your avatar cretaion screen where you select the design and your ship etc?

One of the bits at the top said play game - I needed to download something or other for it first though..

Aloof, I wish you luck, you'll need it to get me (actually you won't, I appear to suck at flying my ship except into asteriod fields....).

Can't help. It seemed ok to me. Perhaps you need to close it and start again. Maybe you've encountered a bug.

Ah, that was the first page where I was "logging" on - it said click here for Cylon and here for Human.....

After seeing this thread i thought it would be worth taking a look myself...

I'm surprised how fun and addictive it is!
You start out in either a mark 2 Viper or a Raptor
And build yourself up into a slow but extremely well armed line ship
Size difference:


The Battles are absolutely huge!



It's great when you get into a battle with huge ships slugging it out from extreme range
And you have a whole wing of vipers protecting them
getting close and launching missiles into the cylon ships!

Nice one, Streps. I just don't have the time to commit to this game but I was impressed especially as it's largely free.

It needs plenty of time to play out really.
Mining rocks is rather time consuming and needed to level up.
You can just buy merits/credits but it's taking away the free element then.

overall the teamwork is fantastic.
You can also play as the Battlestar Pegasus by the looks of it !

Yeah, learning the game, mining, levelling up, all takes time. Looks very impressive. I've seen stuff on YouTube, too.

Just signed up to this, looks surprisingly good, just done the tutorial mission.

I'm a cylon, the free xp and mining bonuses did it for me....

I created a hot female human as running around the Galactica, I didn't want to be looking at a man's arse all day. Plus I don't need to pretend I'm a hero, being, you know, powerfully-built.
