So, I've just had the email off amazon. Modern warfare 3 is available for pre order pending it's release on November 8th. Where is everyone going to orderit from?
My friend got MW2 a day early from play.com, I would rather pay a bit extra and have the new one a day early myself.

I'll probably just pick it up in the release-day morning at whichever supermarket has the best deal.

The email says if you pre order with them today, the will give you the lowest price between now and release date. Does that mean they will be matching the cheapest price, of all retailers?

No it means if Amazon lower the price to say £39,99 you pay that not the £54,99 they are currently quoting,

The lowest price and delivery a couple of days after everyone else gets it - based on my past dealings with play.

They used to be excellent, but are now terrible at getting stuff to you in a reasonable time-frame. I ordered three budget titles off them last week (Thursday), 2 direct from them, 1 from one of their affiliates. The affiliate was delivered on Friday, Play delivered the first yesterday and the second hasn't arrived yet. I only ever use them if I'm in no hurry, otherwise I use Shopto who seem much much better.
