GT5 - LAN?

Guys, do you know if its possible to play GT5 over a LAN or is it a matter of loggin in online together?

I've not seen it as an option but then again I havent looked. You deffinatly could with GT4

Snap - online indicated not but I didnt see anything official.

My internet is a bit lacking I am wondering how it would handle 3 people from the same house and if Sony would like it from the one IP? Probably wont notice knowing their security

Logging on to PSN using multiple PS3 is possbile from the same IP address (Location). But the performance would depend on how good your internet connection is.

I have done this a few times, its not the most practical of things to do though if you have to transport TVs, Wheels etc

TV's are sorted its more the 1 mile from the nearest village dial up esque internet that I am concerned about!

Do a download/upload speed test when nothing is running to see what max throughput you can get.

Then depending on your router check what the throughput is for 1x PS3 and see if you have the headroom for the 2 additional ones. I can not comment on performance as my company provide me with a internet connection at home via a leased line.
