Any cs:s gamers out there?

Anyone on here play counter strike source on the PC?

I have played CS/CS:S since beta (1999 ish) Although do not play much any more just the occasional mix now and then.

I gave up really because of far to much rage from other users. Logging on to a game to have 30mins/1hour of abuse chucked at you for no apparent reason gets boring quickly.

I still play every other day and have done since the very early days of CS, now only play Source on DM maps like two_towers

About 5 years ago I played this a lot. I tried it again a few weeks ago and I find it very out dated, gameplay wise I mean. Team Fortress 2 is my multiplayer game of choice now

Used to play a fair bit, but got cheesed of by the number of hacks being used by players. Don't play it at all now - switched allegiance to WoT.

I used to be clanned in the early 2k's but due to working nights couldn't play on clan nights/scrims, so left the clan and just played dust2/office/assault on pubs.

Got bored with that and started playing DM on custom maps, which very quickly sharpens your skills and DM has that 'instant' buzz rather than waiting to respawn.

I'm in the top 10 on The Tournament twotowers DM stats.

I played it constantly a number of years ago but for the past 2 years my internet connection hasn't been good enough to cope with it (due to other people downloading / too far from exchange).

I really enjoyed playing it, and on pubs was never too far from the top of the scoreboard, if not the top. When it started getting more popular it was getting full of idiots which put me off a little.

Still, if I had a decent connection I would most probably play it more.
