PS3 Latest Update

Is anybody else having trouble since the latest PS3 update?

Ever since I installed it a couple of days ago I now find my console freezing at various times.

For example I tried replying to a friends message. As soon as I click reply the system locks up. The screen is the same and COD carries on playing in the background but I cannot move the cursor or select anything.

It is almost certainly not related but my GT5 loading times have got even worse since I updated.

Funny you should say that, I've had Battlefied crash three times since I updated yesterday morning. The whole PS3 just freezes.

Kind of glad to know im not the only one. I was worried it was early signs of console failure.

Yeah, wipeout keeps freezing. I thought it was a bad download.

Oh yes. Left mine to update and went out for a cycle. Came home to red light of death. it's an original fat 60GB I bought pretty much when they came out so it's not a bad inings but it had been faultless up to now.
