Just wondering what peoples favourite track is on Forza?

I'm really enjoying the Nurburgring at the moment.. In a standard Acura LMP car I've set a 6:25 so wondering if thats any good or not? biggrin

Got to be the 'ring. No matter how much I drive it it never gets dull, theres always somewhere to try and eek out a few more tenths, and very satisfying when you do hook up a clean lap.
Other favourites are Camino Viejo de Montserrat, Sebring and Road Atlanta.

At the other end of the spectrum, I hate Circuit de La Sarthe, just way too long with not a lot in it, Mugello, Suzuka and Circuit de Catalunya. I just find them really boring.

Whats your time on N'Ring?

I also like Road Atlanta and I'm quite a fan of Tskuba. Dislike La Sarthe, as you say its too boring.

I'm currently enjoying the Nurburgring GP circuit.

Don't like Rally do Positano, too slow and can't get up to speed, like Sidewinder. Tsukuba is ste, as is New York.

Also, I tend to avoid the Nurburgring and Sedona. Might be my telly, but the shadows are too dark and the lighting is crap.

Favourite racing tracks at the moment for me are Road Atlanta and Laguna Seca, but for drifting I'm loving Maple Valley. I wont post times because as much as I love the tracks I'm scensoredt

Still the Nurburgring, but the more I race it the less realistic the times feel. There is a strong argument on the FM3 forums that the track is 2 miles longer than it should be hence lap times in production cars are so far out from their real life versions.

My best in a standard un-tweaked R1 car is 6.17, I've managed 6.59 in the Radical SR8 which is my favorite car in the game at the moment.

Have you driven the Nurburgring in real life?

Its very different to the game. I never played the game before going to the track, but when I got home had a few laps and couldn't believe how different it felt.

No, I'd love too, but having a virtual version is a much cheaper alternative!

Le Mans is my other favorite in FM3, it is stunning.

Fujimi Kaido would be my favorite. I love going through the the uphill section to finally get to the top with the antenna. Then pounding down the downhill to the finish. Bit of a hotlap/drift track rather than a racing track.

Racing: Silverstone and Mugello are my favorite RL tracks and Maple Valley and Iberian would be my favorite fictional.

It's done with a car with massive power and no downforce but Tcs and ESM on. Cheating basically

How people manage a clean lap of the Ring I do not know. I'm off and rewinding at the first corner.

Regards N'ring times.

I just posted a 6.31.520 in the Acura first time out. It took me a couple of corners to get to grips with how quick it was. When I did though I was easing off corners that I could have taken a bit quicker. banghead

I didn't have any T/C or any other aids. I did feel great though when I completed the lap.

Its all about lines, I was using the lines I learnt when over there (Within reason!) and it seemed to work. It does feel excellent when you hook up a flying lap though.

My favourite are Fujimi and Positano, I just really like the long windy tracks. The Ring is up there of course, and Le Mans sees a lot of action from me.

Not a fan of Road Atlanta, I can never seem to hook up a lap...

Yeah I had a look at the replay, and noticed all the aids were on, no wonder it looked so easy to drive.

WRT hooking up a clean lap, I think all my laps of the ring have occassions where I'm running onto the grass, or in the case of the Acura R1 car being way too cautious into corners.
