It's coming at a price of $189 or $99 (H-Shifter or Paddle Shift).

It looks like it could be quite good, probably not in the same league as any of the Logitech G25/G27 but as an alternative to the standard 360 wheel it might be alright.

The F430 wheel they released was panned by the webcast I watch, not sure whether this is just the same tech rehoused in a 458 wheel or whether it's a genuine improvement. Did you mention an H shifter? Would they give you different pedals for that?

If I had the money/space i'd get myself a fanatec wheel and clubsport pedals. But I don't!

If this is decent then $200 seems quite affordable for a 3 pedal, h-shift setup.
Just a shame it only works on xbox as i'd like one thats compatible with both for playing gt5.

edit: link doesn't seem to mention anything but the paddle shift??

Yeah, another article mentions a shifter Thrustmaster are offering for their T500RS and other pc-compatible range of wheels. It mentions the shifter will be $180 and that the 458 wheel will be $99, but not that the two will be compatible unfortunately. Still seems the only decent multi-platform option is a GT2 RS with clubsport pedals/shifter frown

It's not force feedback though, shame. Looks good though. Hopefully they release one with FFB for not much more £££'s at some point
