How come codemasters have toned down the ps3 version with 720 compared to the full 1080 on the xbox version?

Looks the same anyway as there is not much difference between 720 and 1080 on most games.

Cannot believe it. My tv said 720 when I loaded the game and I thought there was something wrong with it at first. If their going to tone it down, they should lower the price of the ps3 version. I've already noticed problems with frame rate and graphics, I bet the similarly priced xbox version doesn't have the same issues.

Might depend on how good your TV is as well.
But blame Xbox, they're bds for things like this.

I don't think it's anything to do with Microsoft, infact I think it's just plain silly blaming them.

This is down to Codemasters.

Apparently they're looking into the issues...

To be honest I don't really notice the graphics whilst playing anyway.
