What's Thief-Deadly Shadows like??

Hiya ,
Just seen this game for PC on Amazon, not played it before (the prequels), so,,, is there anyone who has played these games, if so,, are they worth a look? Have played far Cry, Call of Duty, IGI2 etc,, is Thief in the same vein?

Im playing through Thief 2. They are great games but are much more stealth-em-ups than shoot-em-ups.

A lot more of a ceribral challenge that shoot-shoot-shoot-kill
