As Im about to buy a new xbox for forza 4, is it worth getting a kinnect bundle?
I will only used the xbox for forza and cod when it comes out, just wondering if for these games it is a gimmick or useful?
Note i will only use it for the head movements as i have a fanatec wheel
Anyones experience and thoughts greatly received....

Gimmick functionality in Forza4, I think?

Some minor games where you use your hands to steer, but obviously there are no pedals so the game accelerates and brakes for you. The only other useful aspect could be the head tracking:

You'd be better putting the money towards a wheel in my opinion. Holding your hands out pretending to hold a wheel just seems plain silly to me!.

Dont need it for a wheel, as I have a fanatec, it was purely for the head movement facility to look around the cabin and be able to see the internal mirror and side view easier when driving.
Does anyone know how affective this is yet?
I was also wondering if the head movement facility would help in a FPS like COD?
I would imagine, if done well, coupled with a set of one of those tv glasses, could, potentially be quite good, or is it just no where near that affective yet?

Ah, sorry chap, I didn't realise you have already got a wheel (that'll teach me not to skim read!).

I'd be interested in hearing how the Kinect feature works in games as well.

I dont know about COD, but as far as Forza goes I think its pretty handy IMO. It not only adds to the whole simulation-ish feel of things it also helps a bit too, especially when racing in cockpit view with a wheel. I found it alot better for tight corners as you can look around slightly but you can have little glances in your mirror just before you turn in and out of corners like you would if you were actually racing to check where the guy behind you is on the track rather than just guess work

Noticed there were comments from some reviewers about the kinect view staying side on whilst you were back to looking straight ahead - have you not had this problem?
