Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
Discussion
I'm with you on looking foward to this, pre-ordered in the local Blockbuster.
It Uncharted series are the only 2 games I have played from start to finish on the PS3. I only got into them recently, about two months ago, so the wait hasn't been that painful.
After that its the next Assassins Creed game. Good job winter is coming/.

These games and Half Life series & Portal are the only games i've ever finished - i get bored of them but these are fantastic.
I will get this on relase day too - a game not to be missed - the last one was just jaw dropping in some places - I used to stick it on to show people how amazing games are now!!

I'll be saving this until Christmas Eve, just like I did with the last two games, little tradition I've got going and I enjoy settling down on the couch for a bit of adventure and some booze.
I like it. I normally give Assassins Creed a hammering between Christmas and New year, when i get chance.-crookedtail- said:
There was an epic trailer on the telly the other day. My eyes nearly popped out of my head. At one time they didn't advertise on the box very much (I can't remeber the original xbox getting any telly time at all) but I'm glad there back doing it now. I wouldn't have a clue about half of what was coming out if it wasn't for the adverts.IGN have just put their review up and given it a perfect 10 score:

Bought my copy from ASDA yesterday afternoon (not supposed to be released until today. I lost 3 hours to it last night and didn't even notice the time until the OH said she was off to bed. Played a bit of multi-player too and found it to be highly entertaining. Excellent graphics and gameplay. I think the female villainess bears an uncanny resemblence to Dame Helen Mirran, the older sidekick reminds me of Clark Gable(!) and the handy-in-a-fight claustrophobic one reminds me of Jason Statham.

Thanks for that. I thought it came out today, Friday, for some reason. I soon as read this, on Wedensday, I was off in town to pick it up.So far very similar to the others but in a good, familar way. The visuals seem to have improved a bit. I couldn't leave the first two alone so I guess this one won't be much different.
The only thing that lets the Encharted series down in the first two games, in my eyes, is the supernatural beasts they throw at you later on. They tend to use large number of badies that just keep coming. They piss me off a lot and it feels a bit of a cheap shot after the rest is so polished.
Here's hoping number 3 doesn't have any.
