Recovering an xbox gamertag

I seem to recall setting up an xbox live account a while ago, and registered my PH name as my gamertag.

Roll forwards to today, and I can't seem to remember which email account I used to set up my live account. I have registered an new email account but the lost in espace gamertag has gone.

I tried following the suggested route to get the old live account sorted but MS say that they have no record.

Any tips on how to recover it?

Email X-Box Live from your email address associated with the account and tell them you've forgotten login/password.
