looks good looks like an improvement - 2010 really put me off due to its instability - didnt get 2011

what i like about 2012 is that u can select/deselect leagues mid-season so u dont have to choose rite at the start of the game

Not really followed it, stuck with FM10 for a while

If 12 now includes changing league mid season then it will be my next purchase. Hate having to start a new game when I get bored after a few seasons of Prem ,would be nice to switch straight away to Serie A (Without selecting to run 50 leagues at start and it taking an hour between continue clicks)

Unlocked it at midnight, it's different to 11, but still looks like good fun and a great way to waste days.

I'm up to 2029 in FM11 with my beloved Luton. Enjoying 11 too much at present to buy 2012 especially as the board have just built the Tim Mole Stadium! I've always brought alternate FM/Champ Managers in the past so I will probably wait until FM13!

Is it much more expensive to buy in disc form than digitally via Steam? My home connection is awful.

Long time CM/FM fan but haven't had played it for 5-6 years as I haven't had a PC to run it. I'm deliberating on a return - but fear for my marriage if I do!

The game seems good, some new layouts which I think will be faster to use once I get used to them!

30 quid on Steam, about 25 on Amazon, so it's actually cheaper to physically have it. I just downloaded it for convenience reasons

I think you'll still need to activate it through steam which ever method you use.

It's only a couple of gig so you could leave it updating for a while if you connection is really poor.

After a full weekend of running this whilst watching football. I got my Bolton team up to 6th and won the Carling Cup, the draw was kind the only team of note I had to beat was Arsenal. Started with no money so signed McFadden on a free transfer and Ryan Jack from Aberdeen who my scouts said was worth a punt.

Anyone found any other half decent young players for a budget yet?

Just downloading it. Cant help but wish the team put together a rugby version! Maybe in order to appeal to a wider group a league/union one where you can try and bring people across. More sales for the company that way.

Anyways heres to another season on misery as I attempt to move a small club into the bigtime!

Nope, started with Sheff Utd and had no money and have to cut the wage bill by 30%. So can't sign anyone.

How decent a machine do you need to run Champ these days?

I've not played properly since the good old days of 97/98 on my Amiga.

Thats a bit of a lie - I did have champ 3 aswell.

Would love to get back into it though......
