Just letting everyone know, that the complete Grand Theft Auto collection is £4.99 on Steam for this weekend. Brilliant deal since they would cost you more for one game.

Literally just bought it this second, despite owning pretty much everything apart from the latest "Episodes..." add-ons on various platforms. Amazing price. I'll get modding GTA IV, I reckon.

I managed to grab this bargain last time, I still think that this collection is the best deal they've done

Bloody hell, downloading now and GTA IV and the expansions weighs in at 30GB of download!

Do you download all the games or can you pick which ones to install once purchased? I don't like the sound of a 30g download for GTA 4, it'd probably take a week on my broadband connection!

I bought it purely for the episodes from liberty city,
it lets you pick and choose which ones to install

You pick, and have an unlimited number of downloads. That is the beauty of steam, as long as you remember your user name and password you can get your games anywhere in the world, on any computer as long as it has internet access.

Oh yeah, I've used Steam before but didn't know if it came as one big game file like a Game of the Year style one. I'll be buying this this afternoon, thanks for the heads up on this, it's a bargain!

Oo nice one smile Stuck with a work laptop at the moment - 1 & 2 should prove some diversion for a while.

Think I'll need to get this, haven't modified a GTA game in far too long!

Been playing a bit of Vice City, forgot how good it is! Only problem so far is the mouse sensitivity, when I turn the sensitivity down it only work on the side-to-side axis, anyone know of a way to fix this?

Can you stick up a list of what games are included for £4.99?
(And once downloaded do you need an internet connection to play single player?)

GTA 1
GTA 2
(1&2 are free if you download the pack)
GTA 3
GTA Vice City
GTA San Andreas
GTA IV
GTA IV Liberty City Stories.

Cheaper than buying one game.

Sweet. Do you know about the 'online/offline' play thing? I'd like to play this on my laptop when I'm in a hotel on business with no wifi or 3g.

Bought this but i've tried 1,2 and 3 so far and they just won't run on my laptop. It is a fairly new acer with i5 processor and from looking on google I think these games struggle on windows 7 for a variety of reasons.

Haven't tried any of the more recent ones yet

Give Vice City a go, it's running fine on my Windows 7 laptop. Going to have to give San Andreas a go as well I think.

Excellent information, I didn't know you could do that. Cheers!
