Is there a game with local UK race tracks?
Discussion
TOCA 3 is a good one. There's quite a few UK tracks, Castle Combe, Snetterton, Silverstone, Oulton Park, Brands Hatch and others. It's on PS2 and it might be on Xbox. The physics aren't too bad and there's quite a few cars, as well as rally and stuff.
Also, for PC, rFactor. Graphics aren't great but the physics are really good, loads of mods so should be able to get most UK tracks. Also loads of car mods, so you can have a SuperTouring era BTCC festival. The AI are really good too (as they are on TOCA), and it should run even on low end PCs.

If you're after mm precision in the tracks you could do worse than iracing on the PC (no console version unfortunately). They have a laser scanned rendition of Oulton Park out tomorrow that looks pretty good on their facebook page. Its definitely a track with character in real life that i've never really felt has been done properly in a sim before, so it'll be interesting to see how it is.
Brands is already on there and spot on from my experience, as was Silverstone before the real one changed (rescan!).
Good luck with the racing!

Yup, TOCA3 on the original Xbox is still the best console game that I know of. But it's getting a bit old now. Also, for PC, rFactor. For something more modern there's Need for Speed Shift which has Brands Hatch and Silverstone, but TOCA 3 has many more.
That's about all I know for consoles, but as others have said there's a fair few more available for PC.
